Overview
I designed and built Scripted Studio’s website for a premium content writing brand that needed to look commercially sharp and strategically positioned. Rather than following the softer, template-led style common across content websites, I created an editorial website design with a clear, confident visual direction.
The project included website design, frontend development, blog structure and a portfolio system. The launched site gives my client a custom foundation for publishing blog content, presenting case studies and developing its online presence over time.
The Challenge
Many content writing websites rely on vague messaging, pastel palettes and generic stock imagery. For Scripted Studio, that approach would not reflect a premium brand focused on clear, results-driven positioning.
My client needed a content website design that could communicate creativity without becoming playful, while retaining professionalism without slipping into a corporate visual language. The site also needed to support both current brand messaging and future blog and portfolio content.
The Solution
I created a monochrome editorial system built around strong typography, confident layouts and a writing-focused hero visual. This gave the custom website design a distinctive direction while keeping the focus on Scripted Studio’s content and positioning.
I also developed the frontend and structured the site around blog posts and portfolio case studies. The CMS-ready content architecture was designed to make future publishing and portfolio development more manageable, with dark and light modes forming part of the experience.
The Result
The finished editorial web design gives Scripted Studio a more premium, commercially focused digital presence. The visual system helps the brand communicate confidence and creativity without relying on generic content-writing website conventions.
The launched site also provides a structured foundation for future blog content, case studies and SEO work. With dedicated systems for the blog and portfolio, my client has room to expand the website as its body of work grows.
