What I need from you.
Usually, I need an understanding of the business, the goals for the website, existing branding or assets if you have them, access to relevant accounts when required, and feedback at key stages.
You don’t need a complete sitemap, polished copy, technical requirements or detailed design instructions. You also don’t need to know whether the site should use WordPress, Next.js or anything else — that’s part of what I help work out.

What will it cost?
A straightforward business website and a custom platform aren’t the same job, so I don’t force projects into fixed packages.
Once I understand what you need, I’ll give you a clear fixed price before we start. If there’s a simpler way to achieve the same goal without paying for things you don’t need, I’ll tell you. Where the project allows it, we can also work backwards from a sensible budget by adjusting the scope.
