Overview
I designed and built a stronger digital foundation for Cypress Creek Environmental Solutions, a growing environmental services company serving Brooksville, Central Florida, and surrounding communities. The website needed to reflect the waterways, wetlands, ponds, lakes, and native landscapes connected to the company’s work while making its services easy to understand.
I created a rugged, natural, locally grounded website that helps visitors find support for lake restoration, pond management, aquatic vegetation removal, land clearing, erosion control, debris removal, and related environmental services. This custom website design combines environmental storytelling, service-focused content, mobile optimisation, local SEO structure, and clear enquiry paths.
Project focus
Custom homepage design with a Florida-inspired visual direction
Service-focused navigation and clearer customer journeys
Mobile-optimised hero and enquiry actions
Local SEO-ready structure for service, project, and future landing pages
Project content and case study areas to support credibility
The design system was built around water, vegetation, rugged natural textures, and deep green brand tones rather than a generic contractor layout.
The Challenge
Cypress Creek already had a strong natural identity, but I needed to turn that identity into a usable digital experience. The challenge was to keep the website visually immersive without allowing the design, imagery, motion, or parallax treatment to overpower the content, mobile experience, or enquiry flow.
The business provides a broad range of water and land services, including pond restoration, aerators and fountains, pond liners, canal cleaning, tree removal, land clearing, erosion control, debris removal, aquatic debris removal, and aquatic vegetation removal. I needed to create a flexible structure that could organise these services clearly now and leave room for future additions.
Key challenges
Simplifying a large service list for faster discovery
Balancing a strong visual direction with mobile readability
Improving header, navigation, and homepage hierarchy
Creating clearer quote and click-to-call paths
Preparing service and project pages for local Florida searches
Keeping styling consistent across case studies and service content
The Solution
I built a custom website experience that combines a cinematic, Florida-inspired homepage with practical service navigation, project content, enquiry paths, and mobile-first refinements. The homepage was rebuilt around a parallax-style hero, natural textures, rugged transitions, service imagery, and a clearer hierarchy for Cypress Creek’s core services.
I refined the desktop header, logo sizing, and navigation behaviour, then added a services mega menu to help visitors find the relevant service more quickly. I also created a mobile hamburger navigation, a flexible homepage services carousel, embedded video space, and more useful calls to action for quote requests and direct phone enquiries.
The site was developed to support immediate enquiries as well as long-term organic growth through SEO-friendly web design. Service and project content areas were structured to support future pages, updates, and local landing pages without losing the visual character of the brand.
What I delivered
Custom homepage development and responsive styling
Sticky desktop header and mobile navigation refinements
Services mega menu and homepage services carousel
Project case study structure and embedded video section
Click-to-call and quote request calls to action
Local SEO-focused service content structure
Consistent footer and page styling
The Result
The completed and launched website gives Cypress Creek Environmental Solutions a clearer, more established digital presence. It communicates the company’s services more directly, reflects the Florida environments the business works in, and gives customers straightforward ways to request a quote or call.
I created a more flexible foundation for future service pages, case studies, project updates, local landing pages, and SEO content. Rather than relying on a generic contractor layout, the site now has a visual identity aligned with the company’s work across ponds, lakes, canals, shorelines, and land-based environmental projects.
What changed
Stronger homepage presentation and service discovery
Cleaner mobile experience and more visible enquiry actions
Clearer structure for services, projects, and case studies
More consistent styling across key pages
SEO-friendly content areas designed to support future growth
The project demonstrates the value of a focused digital foundation for service businesses, similar to the approach shown in the see the Professional Wildlife Solutions case study.
