Overview
LESDEF is a 501(c)(3) education foundation in Arizona that needed a website to present its offer with clarity and credibility. I approached the project as a focused nonprofit website design engagement, ensuring the site reflected my client's existing brand while giving visitors a more straightforward introduction to the foundation.
The work combined website design, a responsive build, and SEO structure so the site could support both its immediate communication needs and future growth. The site is now live, providing LESDEF with a more considered digital foundation for its audience.
The Challenge
LESDEF needed its website to make the foundation's offer easier to understand for people arriving with different levels of familiarity. The experience also needed to feel credible, be easy to navigate, and give visitors a clear route through the information without losing the character of the client's brand.
Alongside the design challenge, the site required an organised structure that could support search visibility and make enquiries easier to pursue. I needed to balance those practical requirements with an experience that worked reliably across screen sizes.
The Solution
I designed and built a responsive website around a clean visual hierarchy, clear page structure, and a more deliberate user journey. The layout was developed to help visitors understand LESDEF's offer quickly, move through the site with less friction, and find the information they need on desktop and mobile.
I also organised the content with SEO-ready structure to support the foundation's visibility in search while keeping the presentation focused on people first. This approach brought the design, responsive build, and search considerations together in one nonprofit web design project.
The Result
The launched website gives LESDEF a clearer and more credible digital presence that is better aligned with its brand, audience, and goals. Its messaging and presentation now have a stronger structure, while the responsive build and SEO-ready organisation provide a practical base for future growth.
The project demonstrates how a considered website design for nonprofits can improve clarity without overstating outcomes. For another example of a purpose-led website project, see the Pearlstone Home Health case study.
