Overview

Professional Wildlife Solutions needed a website that felt more distinctive than a typical pest control or wildlife removal company. The goal was to create a brand experience that felt professional, memorable, and local, while still being friendly enough for homeowners dealing with stressful wildlife issues.

The project focused on building a modern visual direction around bold typography, soft natural colors, custom wildlife artwork, and clear service-led content. Instead of relying on generic contractor styling, the site uses playful but refined animal illustrations, strong contrast, and custom section transitions to create a homepage that feels both trustworthy and unique.

The site was designed around the company’s core services, including bat removal, rat and mice removal, groundhog removal, squirrel removal, raccoon removal, and snake removal, while also clearly highlighting their service area across Northwest Georgia.

The Challenge

Wildlife removal websites often fall into the same visual patterns: heavy green backgrounds, generic stock photos, badge-heavy layouts, and cluttered service sections. Professional Wildlife Solutions needed something that stood apart while still feeling credible and easy to understand.

The challenge was to balance personality with trust. The design needed to feel approachable and slightly playful, but not childish. It also needed to give visitors a clear path to book an inspection, understand the services offered, and confirm that the company served their county.

Another key challenge was creating a visual system that could support custom animal artwork without making the page feel busy. The site needed illustrations and mask effects that blended naturally with the layout, rather than feeling like decorative images dropped on top of a template.

The website direction was built around a minimal cream, black, olive, and soft grey color palette. This gave the design a premium, outdoors-inspired feel while avoiding the typical bright green and orange styling often seen in pest control websites.

The homepage uses bold, condensed typography, large spacing, and simple service messaging to keep the layout clear. Instead of overloading the page with boxes and icons, the content is broken into calm, readable sections with strong visual hierarchy.

A custom wildlife illustration style was developed for the site, including raccoon, rat, squirrel, snake, spider web, and nature-inspired background assets. These illustrations were designed to feel cartoon-like, but still polished and professional. The aim was to make the brand feel more human and memorable without losing credibility.

One of the standout design features is the black rat/wave mask transition. This creates a bold visual break between the light service section and the darker promise section, helping the page feel more custom and less template-based.
