Overview
VendingWise is a modern vending solutions company serving businesses across Atlanta, including workplaces, gyms, hotels and shared spaces. I was asked to create a local service website that moved the brand beyond the conventional vending-machine category and positioned it as a thoughtful, design-led service.
I designed the live website around the familiar form of a physical vending machine, using the concept to give the brand a more distinctive digital presence while keeping its practical offer clear. The project combines web design, local service website structure and SEO considerations, creating a foundation for explaining solutions, machine formats and Atlanta coverage as the business grows.
The approach reflects the kind of custom website design I create for small businesses that need a more considered, recognisable online presence rather than a generic product-led template.
The Challenge
Traditional vending websites often rely on generic product grids, stock photography and transactional messaging. For VendingWise, I needed to create something more memorable and premium without making the service harder to understand for local businesses assessing their vending options.
The site had to present vending as a complete service rather than simply a catalogue of machines, while clearly explaining the different machine formats available. I also needed to communicate Atlanta relevance, create a strong identity around the vending-machine concept, and ensure the experience worked across desktop and mobile.
Beyond the initial launch, I needed to establish a content structure that could accommodate future service, machine and location pages. That structure also needed to support search visibility through organised content and a local SEO focus, helping visitors find the information most relevant to their space and needs.
The Solution
I built the central creative idea around making the website feel like a real vending machine. Instead of placing a conventional navigation bar above a standard marketing layout, I framed the interface within a machine shell: the main site content sits behind a glass-like display, while a right-hand control panel becomes the primary navigation.
This interaction model lets visitors move between Home, Solutions, Machines, Services, About, Locations and Contact in a way that reinforces the brand metaphor rather than treating it as surface decoration. Within the Machines section, I created a secondary screen for exploring the different machine formats, giving visitors a more tactile, machine-style route into the service information.
Visual design
I combined industrial materials with a clean editorial layout. Dark metal tones, inset borders, subtle highlights and layered shadows give the outer frame the presence of a vending-machine enclosure, while lighter content areas, glass overlays and restrained blue accents keep the interface readable and premium.
Large typography establishes a clear visual rhythm, and small system labels such as Status, Control, Machine and Atlanta strengthen the connection between the physical object and the digital experience. Image-led hero areas, environmental photography and full-width visual breaks bring an editorial quality to the site, rather than relying on a conventional service-page format.
I also structured the content around solutions, machines, services, locations and contact routes so the website can grow alongside the business and support local search visibility. The project shows how a focused visual system can sit alongside the practical clarity expected from website design for new business audiences and service-led websites.
The Result
I delivered a live website that does more than list vending products: it gives VendingWise a distinctive brand experience while making its service and machine options easier to explore. The physical-digital interface creates a recognisable alternative to a traditional vending website, and the image-led presentation gives the brand a more considered way to speak to Atlanta businesses.
The finished site brings together clear machine education, local Atlanta relevance, interactive navigation and dedicated routes towards contact. Its organised content architecture provides a practical foundation for future services, machines and location pages, while the local SEO-focused structure is designed to support ongoing visibility as that content develops.
Most importantly, I created a digital presence that presents vending as a thoughtful service for workplaces, gyms, hotels and shared spaces—not just a machine transaction. The result is a scalable, design-led platform that helps VendingWise feel useful, premium and recognisably different within its category.
