GOBT Global

GOBT Global is a business travel service whose WordPress website had become unreliable and vulnerable. I was brought in to recover the available content and brand, then redesign the site as a more professional corporate presence for its professional and trade-facing audiences.

The project combined website recovery, corporate redesign and static deployment, replacing a platform that had become a technical liability. I applied the principles of custom website design to create a clearer, more trustworthy foundation for communicating the company’s services and corporate messaging.

The previous website created problems beyond its technical condition. As an important first point of contact for potential clients, its slow, unreliable and visually outdated presentation risked weakening confidence in GOBT Global before a conversation could begin.

I needed to recover the available content and carry the established brand forward without retaining the vulnerable WordPress setup. The replacement also needed a clearer corporate structure, making the business travel services easier for professional and trade-facing audiences to understand.

The challenge was both technical and strategic: remove the maintenance and security concerns of the former platform while rebuilding the site around clearer messaging, stronger presentation and a more considered route for prospective clients.

I began by recovering the available website content and brand assets, using them as the starting point for a full corporate redesign. I rebuilt the visual direction and page structure to create a cleaner, more professional presentation, with messaging organised to help potential clients understand the business more clearly.

I then rebuilt and deployed the website as a static site, removing the WordPress maintenance overhead and attack surface associated with the previous installation. The static foundation also supported performance cleanup and provided a more streamlined technical base without carrying forward the vulnerabilities of the former site.

I developed the information architecture with SEO-friendly web design principles in mind, supporting logical organisation for visitors and search engines. I also considered conversion optimisation in the page hierarchy, creating clearer routes into GOBT Global’s corporate messaging and services.

I delivered and launched a live corporate website that gives GOBT Global a cleaner, more professional presentation for its business travel services. The redesigned pages create a more credible first impression and provide a clearer route into the business’s corporate messaging for prospective clients.

By moving the website from WordPress to a static deployment, I removed the technical risk that had made the previous site a liability. The new foundation is faster, more secure and requires less ongoing maintenance than the former setup.

The result preserves the recoverable content and established brand while giving GOBT Global a more dependable platform for presenting its services to professional audiences.
